Even with wood sidings you have several choices - from cedar to wood shingle sidings and engineered wood sidings. The choice you make will depend on the style of your home and your budget for the project.
If you’re hooked on the wood look and are willing to out in the extra effort, a wood siding will provide your home with a look that is unique. You can get a number of styles, finishes and textures with a wood siding. You can also give it a satin or paint finish which will add to its appearance. Make sure that you treat the wood for termite and weather resistance. This will ensure that you don’t have any added problems to worry about. Composite sidings are a low-cost and low-maintenance alternative to wood sidings, but they will give you a similar kind of look.
